Dr. Judy Smith-Höhn

Dr. Smith-Höhn works at the South African Institute for International Affairs (SAIIA) as Program Manager of the Global Powers and Africa Program. She previously held the position of senior researcher at the Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria. Prior to that she was a research fellow at the GIGA Institute of African Affairs in Hamburg, Germany. She holds a PhD from the University of Leipzig, Germany, and a Master degree in Political Science from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Dr. Smith Höhn adds to the board the analytical skills on the macro economic developments in South Africa, and specifically the expertise on BRICSA developments.
